Registered Dietitian
Peiman has an Honours Master of Science Degree in nutrition and he has work experience at University Health Network, Loblaw and City of Toronto Long Term Care Homes as a part of his training by the Ryerson University’s G. Raymond Chang School. He is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of Ontario, and a member of Dietitians of Canada.
His experience working in a multidisciplinary environment for more than 8 years enables him to enhance his patients’ quality of care as he subscribes to the philosophy of a collaborative approach to achieve restored health. He has a vision in empowering people in prevention and self-management by applying the motto “TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF” through healthy eating, active living, meditation, leisure and recreation activities.
Peiman has a special interest and advanced training and qualifications in the following areas: weight management, chronic disease, diabetes education and sports nutrition. He was invited several times on Iranian National television as a nutrition guest speaker and also worked as a program coordinator and researcher in the field of obesity.
In his spare time Peiman enjoys hiking, swimming and playing tennis. He feels that finding a sport/activity that you absolutely love to do is the easiest way to stay active. That way… it never feels like exercise.
